handmade paper making: Yellow Pages + Fiber

handmade paper making: newspaper

After the previous experiment, we want to make a real frame. Thanks to the workshop, an A4 size frame was made!! This time, we want to test out the the thickness of paper that we get from different premade paper. We put newspaper into the blender until it turns into extremely fine pulp and you cannot even see the tiny pieces.

The first paper we made, turned out to be very thin, it was very hard to peel off from the frame. It feels like a  thin handmade hand towel. When we used this to folde our floating object, it floated very well.

We put a thin layer of extra plup on the second paper, it feels abit thicker than the last one
The two of them are folded into the floating objects.
