Making broaches

We took the Yellow Page seed papers we made from Blooming Paper back into studio, strip them down into 5cm each and aiming to make 1000 broaches!!


[Edit] More paper arrived through mail on 13th October!

seed paper making

The frames:

I made a small frame to make a smaller size, it'll be faster to dry. Materials:

These mixtures all go into the blender.

The seeds:

These are the lovely cabbage seeds XD. Lets plant them!!!

A bowl of porridge like mixture:

[Edit 20.08.10] The paper is now dried, the colour is more white than when it was wet. The paper is hard and stiff. Since it needs to float in the air, we will make it thin and light .
